We called housekeeping and they brought towels right away and cleaned our room while we were out for dinner. One day they took all our towels but did not clean the room. We picked it because all the rooms are oceanfront/oceanview.Housekeeping was hit and miss, some days they came, some they did not. The building (#27 on map) is already older than the Sandals Royal Barbados and it does show. You have free reign to do anything on the resort except go to the beach, gym and spa until results come back. Our first impression of the room and resort is that it has become a little tired and worn out. Having booked club level we had a fast check in and were brought for testing around 4:30pm and our results came back around 4am. We booked 10 days in a Beachfront Club Level Balcony Soaker Tub room which are located on the 4th floor of the Royal House Building.
This time we travelled with another couple and this was our first trip since the pandemic. We first stayed at this property in May 2019 for a friends birthday and have been to Sandals Bahamas 3 times. When reading keep in mind the resort was closed for almost 18 months so there were bound to be issues. I'm giving this review a 3 star but I really would give it a 3.5.
